Faisul Yaseen is a journalist based in Kashmir. He is Senior Editor at Greater Kashmir and Content Editor at Associated Media. His work has been featured in Frontline, The Hindu, Arre, TerraGreen, and Question of Cities. Previously, Yaseen worked for the Hindustan Times and US-based IDS. He has been a Fellow with the Ford Foundation, Chevening, Commonwealth, Rotary, UNESCO, and Journalism Centre on Trafficking. Yaseen co-produced two internationally acclaimed documentaries on Kashmir – ‘Dinning with the Enemy’ for Norway TV2 and ‘Breaking Borders’ with the Travel Channel, USA. He co-authored a book, Environment Chronicles, which the Teri Press published. Yaseen is an alumnus of Indiana University, Bloomington, and has volunteered work for Pages to Prisoners Project in the US and Ehsaas in Kashmir.
