An entrepreneur by profession, Mr. Hoque started his business career in 1979, at the age of 18 just as he was joining his undergrad. He completed his Executive MBA. Mr. Hoque is driven by the passion to amass higher levels of academic qualifications to enhance his knowledge and has obtained a diploma on International Diplomatic Law for Honorary Consuls from the prestigious UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research). Furthermore, Mr. Hoque has obtained another diploma on Sustainable Business Strategy from the globally acclaimed Harvard University. Mr. Hoque has further completed a certified course in “Conflict, Peace and Security” under the masters program, jointly coordinated by UNITAR and UOC. Mr. Hoque is also a JCI Certified Trainer for leadership skills development.Serving as the Chairman of Shah Group (involved in construction, real-estate, trading, aviation, and manufacturing of apparel, footwear and leather products, IT, electrical and electronics, food businesses), the Ministry of Industry, Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh recognized him as the C.I.P. (Commercially Important Person) for the years 1989, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995, 1998, and 2000. The government of Bangladesh recognizes some of the top industrialists of the country for their outstanding contribution in the field of Industrial Development. Mr. Hoque specializes in project development, negotiation skills, corporate restructuring, international trade, and the like. The most profound skill that Mr. Hoque is renowned for amongst his peers and subordinates is his charisma and leadership skills that set him apart. Mr. Hoque is extremely motivated to foster the youths of the nation, and his leadership has empowered and assisted in the career development of myriad of the youths of the nation.
