Dr. Victoria V. Panova is the vice President of the Far Eastern Federal University, Russia. Prior to that She was the director of the Oriental Studies Institute - School of Regional and International Affairs of the Far Eastern Federal University. Previously, she held the position of the Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University), as well as Chief Strategy Planning Advisor for National Committee on BRICS Research, Russia. She holds a Ph.D. in history of international relations from MGIMO University.
Her research focuses on the club governance (G8/G7, G20, BRICS), military-political and energy security, sustainable development as well as global governance in relation to Russian civil society.
