Asaduzzaman Khan, MP

Asaduzzaman Khan, MP, Home Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.He is a valiant freedom fighter. Risking his life for the greater cause of the glorious War of Liberation, he fought in the 2nd Sectorunder the command of Captain Abdul Halim Chowdhury. Mr. Khan was elected Member of Parliament in the 9th Jatiya Sangsad on 29th December, 2008. Being elected again in the 10th Jatiya Sangsad in 2014, he took oath as Hon’ble State Minister for the Ministry of Home Affairs on 12 January 2014. Demonstrating efficiency, commitment and exemplary contribution in running the country smoothly, he became Hon’ble Home Minister on 14 July 2015 and since then he has been serving the position with due diligence, devotion and reliability. In the 11th Election of the National Parliament (Jatiya Sangsad)  held on 30 December 2018, he was elected Member of Parliament for the third time and was sworn in as Hon’ble Minister of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the second consecutive term. He is recognized internationally for his far-sighted leadership against terrorism and extremism.
