Eirliani Abdul Rahmanis Executive Director of YAKIN (Youth, Adult survivors & Kin In Need), a not-for- profitsheco-foundedwith Associate Professor DanielFung,Chairman,Medical Boardofthe Singapore Institute of Mental Health to help child victims and adult survivors of child sexual abuse. She isconcurrently Program Directoratthe Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation US and serves as Chief Operating Officer and board member of Red Dot Foundation Global, a 501(c)3 inthe US which examines the issue of sexual assault and creating safe places for women in Indiaand Africa. She was in the Singapore Foreign Service from 2005 to 2015, serving in Berlin, Germany as First Secretary(Political),and then in Delhi, India as Political Counsellor.Shegave the key note address at the International Affairs Forum of the World Affairs Councils of America in Traverse City, Michigan in February 2020, and spoke on a panel on the issue of human traffickinginNYCinMarch2020fortheUNWomenforPeaceAssociationalongsideactress and UNODC Goodwill Ambassador Mira Sorvino. She has spoken at inter alia, the House of Lords at the invitation of Baroness Burt of Solihull; Yale-NUS College in Singapore at the invitation of Dean Khoo Hoon Eng; the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia; NYU Steinhardt in New York; Concordia University in Montreal, and the University of the Philippines’ Center for Women’s Studies inManila.
