Irina Pominova is Deputy Head of Energy and Utilities Department at the Analytical Center for the Government of the Russian Federation. After graduating from Moscow State University (MSU) with PhD in economics she began her career in energy in a small consulting firm. After a while, Irina Pominova began to work at Russian Energy Agency (REA) focusing on strategic development of world energy. Finally, she joined Analytical Centre for the Government of the Russian Federation. In 2014, Irina Pominova spent several months in Brussels being a secondee from Russia at the Secretariat of the Energy Charter. In parallel, she delivers lectures in economics at Moscow State University and Higher School of Economics.
