Ed Vargo



Edward Vargo is Professor and Endowed Chair in Urban and Structural Entomology in the Department of Entomology at Texas A&M University, U.S.A. He studies the biology and management of insect pests of the urban environment, especially ants, termites, bed bugs and cockroaches. He received his Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Georgia, and postdoctoral training at the Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France, and the University of Texas at Austin. He was previously Professor of Entomology at North Carolina State University.
