Jui-Min HUNG is Postdoctoral Fellow in the division of national defense Resources and Industries at the Institute for National Defense and Security Research (INDSR) in Taiwan, where his work mainly focuses on the development of the European defense industry, and the transfer of dual technologies. In this role, he advises senior leaders on key issues impacting national security and defense industries. Prior to this position, Dr. Hung served as Postdoctoral Researcher in the EU-China Economics and Political Institute in Brussels. In that capacity, he was responsible for projects supported by the European Union Commission with other academic units in different universities. Prior to his position in the EU-China Economics and Political Institute, he interned in an academic research center at the University of Louvain and in a Brussels based think tank specializing in Peace and Security in Asia-Pacific.
A native of Taipei in Taiwan, Dr. Hung graduated with a B.A. in French Language and Culture at Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taipei. He holds three master degrees (Political Science, History of International Relations, and European Study) at different universities in Taiwan, France and Belgium. He obtained his Ph.D. in political science at the University of Louvain in Belgium.
