K. Yhome



K. Yhome is a Senior Fellow at Observer Research Foundation (ORF), New Delhi. His research interests include India's neighbourhood diplomacy, regionalism in South and Southeast Asia and subregionalism in the Bay of Bengal and the Himalayas. His current research focuses on the changing dynamics of Myanmar's ties with India and China. Yhome has a PhD and an MPhil from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and an MA (Political Science) from Hyderabad Central University. Before joining ORF, Yhome worked with Indian Foreign Affairs Journal. He is the author of Myanmar: Can the Generals Resist Change? and co-authored Looking Beyond the Conflict: Changing Dynamics of India-Sri Lanka Ties and co-edited Emerging Trans-Regional Corridors: South and Southeast Asia. He has contributed over a dozen chapters in edited books and articles in national and international journals including Asian Survey, Rising Powers, Global Asia and Strategic Analysis.
