Jovan Ratkovic (b. 1975) is a Senior Fellow of geopolitical think tank and consultancy Agora Strategy Group (with offices in Brussels, Berlin, Paris and Munich), founded by Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, Chairman of Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Previously, Mr. Ratkovic served as the Adviser to the President of Serbia (2004-12) and Adviser to the Minister of Defence of Serbia and Montenegro (2003-04).
Before joining Serbian administration, Mr. Ratkovic was active in pro-democracy movement of Serbia as co-founder of Otpor! (Resistance!) youth movement, that played vital role in restoring democracy in Serbia in 2000.
Jovan has been participating, often as speaker, panelist or moderator, in over 100 major international conferences and events in past 20 years. He is author of booklet “Lobbying” for London School of Public Relations (LSPR-SPEM, 2006).
Graduate of the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, UK, Ratkovic is also alumnus of Bucerius School of Global Governance (BSS) in Hamburg and the Munich Security Conference Young Leaders Programme (MYL).
